New ‘I Am King’ Fragrance by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is Revealed by New Image on Times Square Billboard

Sean John Fragrances, creator of Unforgivable, the top selling men’s and women’s scent, today unveiled the campaign image of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ newest men’s fragrance, I Am King, on what continues to be the largest billboard ever to hang in Times Square. This new campaign will also be found on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, as well as other popular billboard locations in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Sean “Diddy” Combs is pictured on the billboard wearing a sleek white tuxedo. The image of his new fragrance I Am King is overlaid at the bottom. The new advertisement for the fragrance will replace what has become one of the most well known images in New York City, where Combs holds his fist triumphantly in the air.

The billboard can be found at Broadway and 47th Street and it is a front lit, screened vinyl canvas that has the measurements of 172 X 54 feet. This billboard can be seen while heading downtown.

Sean “Diddy” Combs spoke on the erection of this showpiece for his product, “I am really proud of the new billboard and of the message that it conveys to everyone who gets to see it. I Am King is not just about me, but every man. We are all descendants of kings. And if all men believe in that, we can accomplish anything. This image pays tribute to that belief, that ideal.”

It could only be Sean “Diddy” Combs who could unveil “I Am King” a fragrance that is created to inspire those men who want to achieve greatness and who also dream big. The location and image associated with the billboard reflects the power and true prestige that is associated with the fragrance. It speaks about the man who created it and the men who will wear it.

The I Am King cologne essentially can be described as a fresh woody like, fruity scent. There is a mixture of delectable ingredients that makes it impossible to ignore. Women immediately will be drawn in to the essence of this fragrance. The bottle, shrouded with a chrome cap, incorporates sleek edges with a hint of classic style. It is pure luxury encased. I Am King embodies the Sean John lifestyle.

The fragrances section of fashion powerhouse Sean John will debut the “Kingly” scent in December 2008. This will be just in time for the holiday season. It will also be found exclusively at Macy’s nationwide. It will be available in department stores in February 2009. The suggested retail price for I Am King is $57 USD for 1.7 oz EDT and $74 USD for 3.4 oz EDT. The suggested retail price for I Am King aftershave balm is $54 USD for 3.4 oz and this will become available in February 2009 for Valentine’s Day. The suggested retail price for the I Am King shower gel is $25 USD for 6.7 oz and the deodorant suggested retail price is $18 USD for 2.5 oz. Those two items will be available in May 2009, just in time for Father’s Day.  Finally there will be an I Am King Limited Edition. The will feature a 3.4 oz EDT with storybook featuring I Am King visuals and housed in a signed lucite case, will be also available exclusively at Macy’s for $100 USD.
